Donna Dunstan Peterson has been President of
Classy Lady since 1998 to the present. Classy Lady is a company specializing in pageant
and motivational training. All the tools taught can be applied to pageantry
and daily life. Donna's main goal is to develop her clients into women
of character and confidence-- "ladies with class." Hence, the name of
the company... CLASSY LADY.Donna won the title of Miss NY American United States in 1998 and went on to the national pageant in
Orlando, Florida where she placed in the Top 10 (6th overall) and was Miss Photogenic. Donna is
also holder of 9 other state and national titles. During her reign as
Miss New York 1998, she was featured in articles for the Amsterdam News,
Uptown Xpress and Unfold Magazine. The Pageant Personalities and
Celebrity Spotlight Pages of the Fall 1998 issue of Pageantry Magazine
feature Donna with Halle Berry, Cindy Crawford and former mayor Rudy
Guiliani at the Revlon Run/Walk for Breast cancer in Central Park.
Donna also loves the world of entertainment. She has appeared in independent films, Cosby and the Nanny.
A graduate of Baruch College in 1994, she earned her Bachelors degree in
Business Administration with specialization in advertising. Donna worked in advertising for
four years.
Donna's expertise in fashion and cosmetology has led her to model and coordinate fashion shows for various organizations.
Donna was the only leading pageant coach and consultant at The Seminar
Center in Manhattan and has conducted seminars in New
York and California. Donna was also the contestant trainer for the Miss and
Ms. Black California USA Pageant.
Donna is proud to have been a writer for Her Heighness
Productions and also a part of the Pageant Dream Team which conducts pageant
seminars. As a writer for the international magazine Supermodel
Productions she provided articles featuring pageant and motivational tips on
the Pageant Corner page. Donna is a pageant correspondent For
Turn for The Judges magazine.
